Bio
Elizabeth Faulkner was born in Los Angeles and began her acting career at the tender age of five. She has worked in theatre, film, and television and, in addition to her Kate Caldwell Mysteries, is screenwriting and producing with the company she co-founded, Enclave Entertainment Group. She also serves as Co-Artistic Director of the Enclave Theatre Company where she directs and teaches acting.
While her murder mysteries are works fiction, many actors she's worked with over the years will be inclined to see themselves in some of the characters. (Don't worry, though, they are probably not you. Probably. I mean, maybe, but probably not.)
She currently lives, appropriately enough, in Studio City, California with her husband and is working on the next Kate Caldwell Mystery.

Kate Caldwell is an actress pushing 40 hard. Out of work (again), she leaves New York for Hollywood where her husband has landed a role on the new "Law & Order" spin-off, "The Jury’s Out." New York Soap Opera star, Kate Caldwell is in a coma. Actually, Amanda Rogers-Norton-Winters-Norton, the character she plays on The Gallant and the Gorgeous, is in a coma. Due to an unfortunate misunderstanding with her producers, Kate is being punished by being written out of the show for an entire month. Heeding a call for help from an old friend, the flamboyant actor Jordan Dugan, Kate heads west to perform in the, The Fantasticks. As soon as Kate arrives at the newly renovated theatre in Arizona odd occurrences begin. When one of the actors is murdered Kate is determined to find out the truth. Did the ingénue kill to keep her affair with the married leading man a secret? Would the Musical Director commit murder rather than hear his score ruined? What hold did the murdered woman have over the Producer? With the help of Jordan and the handsome Detective O’Brien, Kate puts her life at risk to unmask a killer. After all, the show must go on.
